          ... because for some reason or other they have dug up the Romanoffs to collect DNA or something so it hasn't been fixed up.. The cathedral is quite grand on the inside and below it there is a burial chamber for the children's of the Tsars. There is a statue of Peter the great and it was really terrible.. I am sure the artist would have been sent to the Salt mines in Siberia after making it .. Apparently Peter was a weak looking man with small shoulders ...

          Nice to see something Finnish.

          ... neck in vadouvan butter with a variety of vegetable sides including julienned carrots, green beans and potato omelette with cheese. I don't recall having had this cut of meat before but it was really tender and tasty, and the sauce rich and flavoursome. They also had a terrine of creamy soup with chunks of artichokes in it called arkisokkakietta (which I presume is Finnish for artichoke) which was also quite interesting.

          Of course there was cheese - a gorgeous Brie ...

          ... soon dumped in the town square and given about 3 hours to scout about and forage for food in the nearby market stalls and city centre. It had become quite cool and we found many of our fellow travellers seeking shelter in the pews of the church in the square.

          A building on the pier, had a large billboard on the side which read "Wireless Free here"


          Limtech tapped Video Girl on the shoulder and said,
