    Finland and Estonia!

The day before we arrived in Helsinki, Finland was a pretty special day. Firstly, it was my good friend, Aaron's birthday. Also, it was the day of Semester at Sea TEDex. Aaron didn’t want anyone to know it was his birthday so people wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. He was also stressed out over TEDex because he was the Emcee. We ended up celebrating with ice cream cake both at lunch and at dinner! It was delicious and so much fun celebrating with all of our friends. ...

Although I am not 100 percent sure if I was allowed to be there, seeing as we only have one night, which I think means one breakfast, tomorrows breakfast. But I don't really care, the karjalanpiirakka ...

Hello from London! I arrived back in this fabulous city last night and have spent the day wandering around and getting myself reacquainted with all the sights and sounds. It feels a little bit weird being back after 7 years - some things are different, but a lot of it is exactly as I remembered, and I can't decide if that's a good thing or not. But before we get into all things London, I need to catch everyone up on the last few days of my Scandinavian adventure, ...

... we started wondering - if we happened to leave 10 minutes earlier, what would have happened to my luggage? Better not to think too much I think, and instead devote my energy to writing a verbose complaint to United!

Plans for tomorrow are pretty light: hitting up the hotel sauna, figuring out a ferry to take to Tallinn, and spending some time wandering around the (surprisingly) small part of Helsinki we haven't seen it. We've done good here so far!
