... seeing Venice on TV or in films. Speaking of films, we witnessed a bit of a horror film whilst we were sat down taking in St Marks Square. A seagull was flying in our direction, with something very large in its beak. So big was it's find, that it was struggling to gain altitude to enjoy its meal. A meeting of the 2 cousins at the parents house saw us load into 2 cars and travel 1 1/2 hours to Mittenwald near the alps. In Germany they have 'autobarns' or freeways which have no speed limit. The only rule is that the right lane is only for overtaking. So with Tanja sitting in the front seat and squirming just a bit, we reach speeds of 190km per hour in a 2006 Opal station wagon.
