... Di Fassa and up to the huge crag directly above our campsite! It was about a 10 minute walk from the top of the Cable Car down to directly underneath the Crag. ... Italian pizza at the pretty campsite restaurant. We began to try and figure out all the words for various toppings in Italian from the menu .... ... Toll Roads the hills were not so dramatic but the engineering of the bridges and tunnels was pretty spectacular! Over the Brenner Pass, Steph even got a sign at the border this time, and then a long descent down into Italy towards Bolzano-Bolzen. Today we took a trip up from 262m above sea level (Bolzano) to 1220m above via cable car. The photos unfortunately do not do the views justice. The day has ended with me and Tadd sitting on the beautiful patio overlooking Balzono Italy at the Penegal hotel. (www.penegal.com).
