I was disappointed to hear that our boat ride in the Adriatic was cancelled due to rough seas. Apparently this was a rare occurrence since the Adriatic is usually very calm, which only added to my feeling of misfortune. But not all hope is lost. The hotel Gusmay is a pleasant surprise. Great architecture by Marcello D'Olivo 1962. We left Positano early this morning and drove down the Amalfi Coast behind many tour buses and scooters.
