Packed away and said goodbye to Aranjuez. Despite everything it was a nice place and enjoyed the stay. Headed off once again with our next destination, Tordesillas, firmly in the TomTom. The roads were quite busy on both ends of the journey and again we encountered a toll (12.85). The landscape has certainly changed and it is definitely looking a little more Celtic in places. I don’t know what it is about Europe but their staircases seem to be much steeper than ours. Maybe that’s just how out of shape I am in, but between my run and the stairs I definitely felt I had earned a siesta.
I wish I had more to tell you, but that was pretty much the highlight of my day. I met up ...

A lighter blog, as promised, to be filled with whatever I can come up with. But first, my latest confession:

Something about being surrounded by 90% Roman Catholics makes me feel like anything could be a sin here, along with the feeling that God is ever present (even moreso than in the EEUU!). Therefore, I decided that my most guilt-ridden memory of this past week should be confessed. Zina and I ate Domino's pizza not once, but twice. ...
