... town was out in the plazas and streets. Laughing kids, small bands, whispering women, the clings and clangs of outdoor tapas bars, oboe solos, older couples sitting on benches watching passersby, people donning silly costumes, a wedding party taking photos, children with ice cream cones dripping all over their classy European clothes, all beneath the golden glow of the slowly setting sun. So that night, I ate some pasta (I know, I know, not Spanish). After unsuccessfully getting the internet to work on my laptop, I tried on my phone and was successful. At least I had some contact with the world. With some difficulty I finally fell asleep around 11pm and didn't wake up till 11:30 the next morning.
