... our stroll. There are over 1200 different kinds of plants in the Renaissance garden which is built in terraces. Hands down the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen. You’ll have to look at the pictures and judge for yourself!

Tonight is a special 'Be My Guest’ dinner on an island in Lake Maggiore. The restaurant is called The Pirate Cove and is in an 800 year old structure. The restaurant is not usually ...

... We found a nice place for lunch down by the water and enjoyed a nice long lunch of pasta and wine. Very classy restaurant with wonderful ...

... growth around the resort. When we walked down to the swimming pool area, the view of a shimmering Tyrrhenian Sea was simply spectacular...absolutely breath taking! Looking upwards towards the 20 meter statue of Christ the Redeemer perched some 300 meters above us blessing the entire region of Maratea and other small coastal communities, we were convinced that the next few days would be filled with delightful explorations of an area that appeared to be one ...

... car was. He motioned to me to follow him and off we went until we found the car. Hmmm...this car looked like it had been in a bit of a demolition derby as there were quite a few scratched and dents on most of the corners. When I mentioned this to the attendant, he looked at me and calmly stated: "no problem, there will be more!".

He deftly pulled the little Fiat out from a very tight parking spot and we checked and documented all of the dents and scrapes that ...
