Bormio, Lombardy, Italy dirtyweekenders... out some paddle boats which was good fun.
Everyone had a great time at the wedding, weather was brilliant. John was so hungry he even ate a flower, plate decoration and Orla tried to steal the show with her drunken antics.
On our last day in Malcesine we went to the top of a really big hill in a cable car, seen some cows and snow, played some crazy golf at a really late hour and had a few drinks with our friends, the last for a while.
Malcesine, Veneto, Italy whatthedeuceCiao! greetings from the alps! So far our time in the alps has been really awesome. The people here are incredible too. The receptionist, Monica has become a good friend. It's been pretty productive in the short amount of time we've been here too. Last weekend we took a day trip to Verona. We saw a baby colloseum where apparently they play live music in the summer... :) We mainly spent the day shopping but my favorite part was when we went to Juliet's balcony, from romeo ...
Folgaria, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy pandajax365... with. Pino took care of all of us. I gave him the biggest hug out of all of them. After breakfast we brought our luggage to the lobby. I went outside and took in the view one more time and then it was time to leave. We cried so hard, we said goodbye to Manuela, the person we saw the most. We even cried when we said goodbye to the maids. Right before we left, Manuela stuck her head in the van, completely in tears and blew us all kisses. I had no ...

Trento, Italy bortolotti... true meaning of the word. It's named after Maria Piaz, whose brother Tita was known as the "devil of the Dolomites", and created a track up the mountain which he named after her sister. The next day a weekend symposium was starting at which many local wine producers were exhibiting their products, accompanied by local foods - I was almost heartbroken as it's not every day you get to do something like this at 2950m with a 360 degree view of the Alps, including the glacier of ...
Bormio, Lombardy, Italy everardt... them excited at their find! Pina said 'the pile of rocks over that hill just didn't look right' - she will make a good cacher! Back through the tunnel, to the hotel where we retrieved out luggage, dropped Pina at her home and we all took a nap-though Carol and I are so wound up we could not sleep. We had said no more food, after that huge lunch, but she had 2 bowls of leftover minestrone soup and 2 bowls of tiny bow-tie pasta in liquid. When we leave here ...
Riva Del Garda, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy teamcc... a castle that the ...the Austrians? Germans? someone built to appease the bishops of Trento, because it was on the road to Rome/The Vatican. The castle was pretty cool, and I got a beautiful (but illegal) picture of the gardens! My favorite part though was the Torre Aquila (Eagle's Tower), which had frescoes inside of the 12 months. We got those little audio guide things...but in italiano! At first none of us had any clue what was going on, but ...
Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy viaggiatore87... the fine products of the Italian vineyards. We were even joined by Robin Wiviott for 3 days. As a threesome we decided to take on the Madonna night life. We encountered some Brits one of which was rather curious. He began by suggesting that we were American, an insult we've encountered all too often this year. After being reprimanded by his compatriots he inquired if we were from Colorado. As we began explaining to this poor lost soul that ...
