... before an Advanced Engineering Math exam - a whole lot of Greek symbols! Every street name was like a ghost from the past! Drank a cold one and soon they were gone...just like the old days!
We started our sightseeing by visiting the Acropolis site. Enjoyed some authentic Greek food - falafel, moussaki. I also tried Ouza - a Greek liquor.

Day 16-19 Greek Island Cruising
Today began our five day Greek Island Adventure on board the Louis Olympia. The cruising idea was new to Carolyn but not to Troy who had been on the Fairstar previously. The ship consisted of nine levels, three restaurants, numerous bars, two rooftop pools, gym, day spa and shops. ... so the entrance is lined with stones as is the inside of the hill. There is a hole in the top and this tomb was actually found when a local shepherd lost a lamb down the hole. The tomb is a couple of kms away from the actual city of Mycenae and there were apparently 9 kings here in ancient times and 9 tombs have been found in this area. The most famous of these kings was Agamemnon, one of the kings who went to Troy to try and take the city for the wealth it offered, although he said ...
