Although we were excited to get to Athens we were also dreading it a little. It's August and it is very hot! Matthew and I are just not used to the heat anymore, but even my parents are dying in these temperatures. I think the sun is much stronger here than in California. Or maybe we just don't hike around California looking at ruins in August. Hmm, that's a thought. Lucky for us as we were climbing up to the Acropolis ...
