... French palace guards and the prince was in the da house but forgot to extend an invite for dinner!!! Lots of references to Princess Grace Kelly. Onto the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo. Back to the hotel where we appreciated a few hours rest and future planning/booking of flights and accommodation etc, and David snoozed while I blogged. We certainly appreciated the quiet time.

I caught the bus to Monaco from Place Garibaldi at about 9.45am, and the trip was everything I expected, and more, with stunning scenery. It was difficult to try to photograph things while travelling, as the stunning views appeared so suddenly and were gone just as quickly, so I just enjoyed the ride, taking in what I could, snapping memories with my eyes.
Monaco was far more enjoyable than I thought it would be. I had read a range of different reviews but my own impression ...

We managed to find a relatively cheap place to eat, so even the plebes are looked after. After lunch we walked around the marina and saw some amazing vessels, not to mention the odd Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes and of course one Bugatti which Hugh was in awe of.
