    ... out of Nice for the next four nights, we arrived, yay it had a pool. Splash!!!!!!! Thursday June 18th The roads were supposed to be real crowded around Nice, so we figured we'd use their new park'n'ride. Geez, it took ages to get there. The motorway to the park was as busy as, there were two tolls on the seven mile stretch that were queued up, and then we had to park, and then we had to ride.     ... right down to the sea, with Mediterranean-coloured houses clinging to the steep hills which rise behind the seaside open air cafes and shops. Here there is also a huge citadel at sea level, excellently preserved, with lovely gardens in parts, and of course with marvellous views over the town and port. But wait, there's more.     The flight was as good as flights get really. Was keen to watch James Bond Skyfall however was so bloody tired from the lead up to the holiday that I kept falling asleep during the movie. Hopefully they're showing re-runs on the flight home!
