... We walked around the centre of the Town in and around the old Palace. There certainly were some people here that had a truck load of money in those days. The Town is made up of a horseshoe shaped circle, divided , with the Nobility on one side and the nouveau riche on the other, never the two to mix. ... make a choice Antwerp or Bruges so we went to Bruges. It's a beautiful town but nothing is free according to the guide if they could charge you to breath they would. Someday I hope to go back and actually see Belgium. Today is transfer day so we are sitting waiting to get to the airport to go to Washington ...

... for which I gave her €10. Then I was upset as she hugged and kissed me goodbye. Made the changing connection an hour later, with minutes to spare. Had wifi and told James. Then 2 stations on they made us get off. No English announcement just noticed it was everyone. Asked a basic English speaker and she said they were sending another train. On same platform thankfully. Very late getting in. Then from information I dragged my suitcase a bit the wrong way. ...

... that it would be about 3 months before we heard anything.

Well, 17 days later the Spanish embassy emailed us and said that our visas were ready. What the? Really? That fast?

Okay! Well, we knew we would have the entire summer to explore around before we have to end up in Spain in early September.

So we stayed in the States until May 25th and hung out with friends, saw family, went to our friends wedding and then hoped on a plane back ...

... it. We were lucky we came in the first bus as the one following us arrived just as this freak weather event started so bus driver decided to give Brussels a miss. So one more comfort stop and then on to our next destination. Just arrived in Amsterdam and to where our boat is moored. What a treat. It's a marvelous vessel and now I'm sitting in the pool area at aft of ship WATCHING the sun set. ...
