... after collecting all their stamps they were 'knighted' by the lady in the shop and received a medallion! The display was very interactive. The kids could try on the costumes of old (maidens and knights in shining armour). Really excellent being able to walk through the old castle. There was a very informative water display/feature behind the castle that told how the Dutch used water as a defense - they could flood areas to stop invading ...

... 6:30. We dumped the luggage and headed for the metro to find our way to the Eiffel Tower. It was so amazing at night all lit up. Andrew and I took the optional tour this morning to the Keukenhof Gardens. I ummed and ahhhhed about going but in the end decided to go by myself....no one else was interested.
