Hi everyone today we dr0ve to Ancona to catch the ferry to Croatia. On the way we stopped at a typical Italian beach covered in deck chairs and umbrellas. We chose a place for lunch and set up on the deck chairs for a while on the beach. There are so many chairs that unless you are in the front row you cant actually gaze at the beach you just look at the back of other peoples deck chairs. Ferry journey, 10 hours, like being on a cruise ship, minus the bells and ...

The jig was up, so I had to say 'sorry, but I really don't speak any Italian', which gave everyone a good laugh. She apologised and went back through the safety briefing in English, which included 'don't hang back to take photos as it is very easy to get lost'. The rest of the tour she explained a few bits and pieces in English to us, which was really nice of her.

... feel we should adopt 'riposo' into our everyday lives, it makes everyone much more relaxed and calm.

We went looking for dinner after a bit of shopping and buying some essential ingredients for an antipasto platter for tomorrow's picnic lunch. The restaurants are all empty until about 8:00pm here, and most people don't have dinner until 9:00pm. We headed back to Piazza del Plebiscito, which is overlooked by San Domenico church, and where the nightlife is. We used Tripadvisor ...
