... Montreux Jazz festival is on so it was quite packed. We saw a few of the touristy things to see, like the Freddy Mercury statue and the Grand Swiss Hotel where Smoke on the Water was written and recorded. We then took a cog train up the alps to Rochers-de-Naye. It is not the highest train in Switzerland to do but it was the closest to where we were staying. It took an hour to wind around ...

We finished another long day, from Champex, Switzerland. This is the northern most point on the TMB trail. My feet were so cold I had to go get some socks. I found it funny that there was a store and cafeteria on top of the mountain. I first went to the cafe to try to get some hot chocolate and a macaroon. When I asked for hot chocolate they gave me this can that cashier said was hot chocolate after I ...

It has been a while seen I last wrote on my blog. But I have been busy doing stuffs. You might wonder what: well lot of stuff. Plus we had a lovely month of September and October. So I had to get out to play in the sun and eat all the ice cream I could. There was a Movenpick ice cream truck near the lake. Don't say Movenbrick or the Swiss will laugh at you (true story…). Then I discovered one in Carouge. I like wondering around in Carouge on a sunny afternoon, ...
