      I know it's been a while since I've posted, but have no fear, I am not one of the unfortunate 8 souls who died last weekend from an avalanche in the surrounding areas. True stat.       ... Hansen etc.) colorful restaurants and bars. The only downside was that due to ''extreme'' snow conditions we couldn't take the Mont Blanc train nor could we see the Montenvers Mer de Glace.
      To sum up, I must say I wouldn't recommend Chamonix as a must-see but it's a nice town to spend a few days but definitely not the best place for skiing. ...

      A voice over our shoulder said. "Be a great idea if you turned your phone on". Once again technology has let us down as i have no reception in Switzerland. It was so good to see Ashley after almost 9 months. We all hug laughing and talking at once.
