The tanks of Antonio were not that successful. The tanks with the least fish had 20 live individuals, and the tanks with the most had 40. This meant that more days had to pass to allow the Seriola to grow a bit stronger, and hopefully survive the transportation process.
15 specimens were randomly caught from my Winning tanks that contained the larger fish. They were removed from their tanks, placed in a bucket with ice (this kills them), and ...

Day 35, Let the Experiment Begin

Usual day at work. Initial feeding, preparation of more feeding, proceeding feeding, siphoning and counting of mortalities. Today Antoni has his initial experiment set up. ... is not allowed in Gran Canaria, but there were 6 tents there. So we put up ours and relaxed on the rocky beach. Some people the took down their tents and went home, other clearly planned to stay the night, so we did as well. This was a very nice spot , only about 10 people in total, 5 tents and a nice breeze. The moon was bigger and brighter than usual, so not too many starts were out. In front of us we had the Scorpio constellation. ...

... was a highlight of the day, looking for the cache in the middle of many tourists at the spot. Once located, we wrote our names and headed back down for the bus. The day ended early because I had to wake up at 6:30am to get a bus to Puerto Rico to go fishing. That night I had a Mojito of Canaria, a very sweet mojito based on banana and banana liquor. ...
