... 30 minutes. We were told that it was possible to walk back to Albufeira from the shore. First high along the cliffs (a lot of up and downs) then eventually from the beach. What a great day yesterday! 5 of us met in the lobby at 9:00, then to the bus stop East, to the town of Vilamaura. This lovely village seems totally designed for biking. Extremely flat, every street has clearly defined bike lanes, as well as bike lanes everywhere. We picked up are reserved bikes at the harbour, for 13 euros, for the day. We pedalled East along the promenade, through to the next town, Quinteiros, for miles. So picturesque. After a while we ran out of road. ...
