... loser-ish i know! After a short walk around the very quiet village and descovering the danish pay 40% tax we mounted our bikes and set off for teh island of Mon. Matias very bravely decided to join us, and amkiing a usuable bike from 4 old ones his father had laying around we were ready to leave. 3 hours after planned departure time, irt was going to be a late one! we missed a ferry at Fehmarn, making Copenhagen a little too far. We decided the "city" of Nykobing would probably the best option. The first two we tried we either fully booked or closed (at 10pm). Luckily we found by change hotel Sam, which, despite its name and odd location, was actually pretty good.

... largely of potato salad, yoghurt and some dodgy looking creamy wafer things. Despite this, following the food we have eaten so far on holiday, this felt like a major feast. ... as it turns out, used to be the capital of Denmark. We explore the old castle and the gardens surrounding it and then head back to her house. Cooking dinner and enjoying a board game night I am right at home and feel rejuvenated and then some. Another early night off to sleep and I should be ready to go when I head off to Berlin in the morning!
