1-06-14 Aalborg (Denmark) to Bremen (Germany)
Today I awoke early and as I had lots of miles to cover I decided to have a
quick breakfast and get on my way.
The weather outside was not great but at least it was not
raining.....yet!!!
Breakfast eaten, bike loaded and it was off to find some fuel and once
filled I was off …

... to have a lot of energy and I could also describe myself as being a talkative and sometimes a bit too loud, after meeting Michael I don't think I have so much energy anymore. He told us about his job experience with BCD and how he learned english and reach a proficiency level in just two years. After a fun lunch in the sun, Michael gave us a tour of the operations and we had the chance to meet with the team that has ...

Before leaving the Bremen offices Michael gave us a tour of the operations and we were able to meet the team of people who arranged the EMEA portion of our ATW80 programme – so neat & thanks again! With meetings complete and goodbyes said, we were off ...

... We arrive in Bremen a few minutes late at 19.30 a short walk to the Maritim Hotel in time for the second half of Brazil v Chile. Disappointingly the first room we were allocated was a smoking room which fortunately we were able to change to one with a view out over the park. A quick freshen up before going down to the bar for the extra time plus penalties which Brazil win. It makes us late for ...

We were also surrounded by other Motorhomes, all German and the Stellplatz was full to capacity, four of us! Now enjoying an excellent coffee in a Greek cafe where the owner speaks excellent English and deciding what to do next. Can't be bad then! AND, free ...

Clean and very neat but also very noisy

Very clean and tidy hotel and rooms and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. However there was one big downfall and that seems to be the semi-permanent residents such as students etc who stay here. They are in and out the front door every 5 minutes right through the night to smoke etc outside and every time they use the front door they simply slam it and the whole building shakes. Its now 1am and they are still at it. makes one wonder if they are in competition with each other to see who can slam it the hardest. There was certainly no getting to sleep in this place!! Other than the door it was a great place to stay with wifi and all.
