Clean and very neat but also very noisy

Very clean and tidy hotel and rooms and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. However there was one big downfall and that seems to be the semi-permanent residents such as students etc who stay here. They are in and out the front door every 5 minutes right through the night to smoke etc outside and every time they use the front door they simply slam it and the whole building shakes. Its now 1am and they are still at it. makes one wonder if they are in competition with each other to see who can slam it the hardest. There was certainly no getting to sleep in this place!! Other than the door it was a great place to stay with wifi and all.

Still holding on to my UH ID, I attempted to gain entry as a student, and was successful! Next stop: the free Mojitos.

Last days in Bremen

Much too quickly, the last days of our stint in Bremen came and went. We dusted off the suitcases and started packing, cleaned up our apartment and said goodbyes to Eddie's cousins, our favourite places, and some fantastic memories. I know for Eddie, Bremen is home, and I love the town just as much. It is the perfect size. It has everything we need, lots of vegan cafes and restaurants, but it isn't a huge, big city. Bremen still seems like a town, just ...

... to find a Becks bar, Bremens other industry of note being the Becks beer brewery. Finding the Becks tour was also all in German (they have 'special’ days for the English visitors, but that option really didn’t sound welcoming) we settled for just having a local brew in a local bar with lunch.

Desperate to find some Internet and buy a few more campers bits and bobs (locks, smoke alarm, outdoor chairs and hopefully a ...

... for free - however as I was no long studying in Bremen I was quite prepared to pay the €5 entry - but luckily after a mix of blagging, and showing out of date German ID as well as my Hertfordshire ID I managed to get in for free once more. To make my night even better, as I walked in the TV screens were showing a selection of party pictures from weeks gone by - I then noticed on this picture someone I recognised, then as I looked more closely I realised ...
