... cathedral date back to Norman times although both have been rebuilt. The
cathedral has a beautifully painted ceiling. It would appear the town was
attacked on numerous occasions by Turkish pirates who liked to massacre the
townspeople. Its narrow steep streets make it very picturesque.

The sunset was most beautiful with oranges, reds, rainbows and birds all flying about. Don’t know that I did it any justice with the photos, but you get the idea.
Dinner at the hotel in the evening—to make it simple and ease our packing for our early morning trip back to Foggia and then on to Positano!

Finally making it to our extortionate campground we got a little reprieve from Italian driving before heading of to pick up Maddie from the airport! Once again Harold is home to three.
