Acapulco, Pacific Coast, Mexico pamericas... were a total of 8 divers. In this group of divers the youngest<br>was 14 and the oldest was in his 50's.<br>Wow what a way to make a living,<br>Then back to the ship to cast off at 6pm.<br>The weather was hot and humid about 92 degrees.<br>A nice refreshing dip in the pool was a great way to cool off.
Acapulco, Pacific Coast, Mexico berri... br>The history of Acapulco (per the tour book), is a city of about 700,000 people. This became <br>a major port back in the 1500's due to the arrival of Hernan Cortez,<br>which at that time many treasures were shipped to Mexico City and on to Spain. After World War 2 this became a favorite<br>vacation spot.More to come!
Acapulco, Pacific Coast, Mexico orion.a... did my wrap the towel around, etc. routine, only to find nothing. I looked down the stairwell and saw the back end of someone descending the stairs rapidly.<br><br>I strongly suspected that this might have been a hotel employee who knew exactly the best viewing opportunities to find his next victims and how to get away quickly. When I brought up the problem the next morning to the manager on duty he pleaded ignorance of any similar incident in his hotel.<br ...
Acapulco, Pacific Coast, Mexico loboJust accommodation for now...........<br><br>Accommodation <br><br>Acapulco has simply two halves: the old town, which is where you will find the budget hotels, and to the east, the resort area, a string of fine hotels lining the Bahia de Acapulco. A simple Google search will list many of these hotels so I won't recommend any. If you ...
It became a huge holiday destination in the 50s but gradually declined due to pollution and later, the develpoment of Cancun. It seems to be getting back on it´s feet tho. The beaches were packed, lots of families having fun and there was a grea atmosphere. Another attraction was the cliff divers. They dive from a cliff (!) 35m high into a narrow channel below, they do several shows per day but they don´t take ...
Acapulco, Pacific Coast, Mexico squeak_1912... people and the diving master disappears, saying ´we leave in 10 minutes´. 10 Mexican minutes, yes... . We dive for an other almost an hour. The coral is nice and lots of fish, some of them huge. Full, full of blowfish. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porcupinef ish They are normally very rare, seeing one is exceptional. Here it is full of them. The diving master grasps one by the tail (1 of the diving rules: NEVER touch ...
Acapulco, Mexico tonyandmarina... we got in and got to bed early. The resort is incredible. When you walk in all you see is ocean. That's because the whole resort is open to the outside. The pool stretches for about a half mile and that doesn't include the lazy river. Our room was also surprising.(we never know what we are going to get with the timeshares) It is a large 2 bedroom with travertine floors, granite countertops and a huge balcony. Collin has decided, "this is the nicest place we've ever stayed."
