This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certosa_di _Pavia). The little houses had the sweetest interiors where the monks worked on illuminations (not sure if that is the correct form of that verb). I have a few interior shots I will upload that I took "illegally". The interiors open up to a private garden for each monk and there is an upstairs as well that we didn't get to see. It was a wonderful, wonderful space!

... an exciting challenge for me. I got us to the Ponte di Rialto.and back without drama and we enjoyed much window shopping on route.
We had one full day in Venice to explore the city. Armed with a map and a copy of lonely planet walking tour we spent the day wandering the streets, canals, alley ways. Discovering artisan shops, churches, little cafes and boutique shops. 6 hours later we found our way back to Ponte di Rialto where we decided to enjoy the sunset ...
