... winding through villages. The middle of Italy is just a vast growing area and it was interesting to see yet another side of this country. Wind turbines are everywhere and we drove through a big mountain range at the start so the views were magnificent. The roads in Italy are shocking. Its quite funny they have judder bars to keep you awake every so often and we both commented that they weren't needed as the ...

Boiled the kettle (aka saucepan) for our first cup of tea. It's cold!! The rain only got heavier, so we decided to give the ride a miss and go for a Wienerschnitzel instead! After lunch we walked to another cafe to use their wifi. We started with hot chocolate and apple strudel, and finished with a beer! After dinner we chatted again with Adele and Trevor, then we watched a movie in bed! It's so ...

Bring back the hot days and balmy ...

We had a platter of cheese, speck, crackers, carrots and apple for dinner, followed by our local Dolomites yoghurt. It's cold tonight!! Almost need to invest in a hot water ...

... this is where people go to get the latest from friends and share an opinion (or 5). We are met immediately by a group of men who know the Zippilis. After a quick rapid volley of Italian we hear "Oh, Cahleefornia!!!!", then we are greeted with handshakes and vibrant smiles. Also in the square is Novello Michetti, second cousin to Lisa's Mom. Smiles and handshakes again as Rita helps to translate. Last stop: the Zippili ...
