we loved this hotel. we booked an apartment, and found it had everything we wanted and needed. It was very quaint, had character and loads of space. just beautiful and couldn't say enough about it. breakfast was great too, and the trams were very handy to get into Prague. a very memorable stay and didn't want to leave.

... pretty amazing pork dishes as well so might just have to wait till Munich. The rest of the night was filled with drinking in a local park playing card games until we realised it was nearly 2am and we had a bus to catch in the morning.

We reluctantly said goodbye to Tom and Caitlin but knowing we would be seeing them soon enough in Croatia which was coming up so quickly!!

... kofola". It is the czech version of cola but is more like cola on crack because it has an additional liquorice flavour and tastes like a jäger bomb. I couldn't finish the glass.

It is also time to see the full astronomical clock show which had been avoided due to the many tourists squeezed around it - particularly at 12 despite the fact it is an hourly occurrence. The medieval clock is the oldest one that still works. It shows the position of the sun, moon, ...

I woke up truthfully not knowing where I was. For a brief moment I thought I was in NZ, and I would roll over to find Geoff, Mia and Stella. I quickly realised I was somewhere else and then did some fast calculation to remember what part of Europe I was in. Prague. This was a part of Europe that I was so keen to see, but after yesterday I was feeling burnt out, sick of sightseeing and homesick. I was a bit annoyed with myself that I didn't feel like ...

... When we sat down we realized the English guys from the other pub were in there too!! Must have passed us when we were in the kebab place! We had a beer and a chat there, and were served by a very seemingly disgruntled old barkeep, then when we were finished there we headed out into the rain again. We slowly were making our way towards our hostel, but when we got to the bridge, we went to go into another pub, but decided against it because it looked too posh! So we ...

... Church of our Lady Victorious. Inside the church is this statue of the infant baby Jesus, which dates back to the 13th century. I'd never really heard of this or seen it, but the robes that have been made for this infant are crazy, and you can buy all sorts of models of this infant in gift shops throughout Prague. It's really quite interesting, and the history is rather interesting as well. The church was gorgeous too, though small and the alter was under ...
