we loved this hotel. we booked an apartment, and found it had everything we wanted and needed. It was very quaint, had character and loads of space. just beautiful and couldn't say enough about it. breakfast was great too, and the trams were very handy to get into Prague. a very memorable stay and didn't want to leave.

... our hotel, and tried out our first Czech beer at the hotel bar. I will say that the Czech beer was pretty good, but it came no where close to being as good as German beer. After that, we decided to go see the famous Charles Bridge lit up at night, and walk across it. We took a Metro, and were there in about 10 minutes. Charles Bridge was beautiful! There are monuments all across it, which makes it really unique. We did a little bit more exploring around Old Town ...

... my bag made it, cause I barely did. The turbulence was horrible, as expected with the size of these planes and the weather, but all was good. It's just a bit scary when you see propellers on your plane instead of jet engines. Not looking forward to my three flights home on Saturday, but give me a jumbo jet any day. The day was early, but I still had to track down my bus and tram to the city center which was another 15 miles out. I made it though, wet and cold, ...

... Gold Coast have become our mischievous allies. They have their own IT consulting business and whilst I predicted her to be annoying initially, she is lots of fun and has a wicked sense of humour. The are in their early 50's. Tracey and Russell from Adelaide are also a really nice couple. We shared a drink with them tonight and the more we get to know them, the nicer they seem. She is celebrating her 50th birthday in a couple of weeks so I'm sure we ...

... doctrine so I may have misunderstood that - plus the sculpture may not have depicted God at all, I'm just an ignorant tourist who didn't want to walk around with the audio guide pressed to his ear or deal with its associated paperwork. We had some lunch at a nearby restaurant. Jess had garlic grilled vegetables in a garlic marinade with a garlic garnish and a side of garlic bread, whereas I had garlic grilled chicken with garlic fried spinach and garlic potato. I ...

Well rested we headed up the hill to Hradcany Castel and had a walk around. We tried to get to the Golden Mile which is street where the houses are made very small and look very quaint but we couldn’t find it or it was closed. It was getting dark and we were tired with Joel’s knee aching and the back of my knee feeling like I pulled a tendon. To make it easy for ourselves we caught the same tram home and got in around 4.30pm. Joel and I ...
