we loved this hotel. we booked an apartment, and found it had everything we wanted and needed. It was very quaint, had character and loads of space. just beautiful and couldn't say enough about it. breakfast was great too, and the trams were very handy to get into Prague. a very memorable stay and didn't want to leave.

The tour basically just includes the accommodation and the transport between cities, which is fine and probably still good value for money. ...

... so limited pictures except for St. Vitus cathedral. The whole castle is a complex of courtyards, religious buildings, gardens, old palaces and current government buildings. It is quite huge so there is some walking to do. I started at the top of the hill and worked my way down to the bottom but, most people start at the bottom and work their way up. I ...

Oh well, we did get to see some of the countryside.......

Upon our arrival in Vienna, our GPS which had failed us before directed us without us even putting the address in to our hotel.

After a short rest we headed to town for an ealy dinner. We then walked around town and ...

... a look. The interior is divided into 4 rooms, the walls being made of large flat stones placed upright and some dry stone pieces of wall. There is a roof also of large flat stones and the whole thing is covered in soil. Some bone had been found in this barrow showing that the bodies of humans had been placed there. Whilst some had been cremated others had not.

In a popular picnic spot that is also a high point and overlooks the Severn valley we ...
