... bugs, flat land and more humidity. Now I see it as one beautiful area after another. The most resort areas in one state! Beautiful beaches on both coasts, friendly people and such diversity. Hmmmm, I may want to return for the winter months in the future.

We did our usual morning walk and swim. Couldn't resist sharing the video and picture of "Lake Atlantic". We have never experienced such a calm ocean on the Atlantic Coast. We've enjoyed our visit with Millie and Bert, had a chance to help with some financial and organizational tasks, and are ready to begin our Maya Adventure.

... quick dash back to clear out & clean up. Back to the car, having refreshed ourselves we continued on and stopped off at Pelican beach, to get a proper view of cocoa beach, it was a beautiful stretch, the whole way down the island. (the other side of the island was marina i think). Photo shot done we set off again, off the island and onto the highway. On the Interstate 94 was a nice easy drive.
