    My birthday! We took the ferry and headed for Vila Real San Antonio (on the Portuguese side) in search of a special final Portuguese lunch but didn't manage to find exactly what we were after so headed back to Ayamonte for some tapas.

    ... than I've ever seen ....OMG) and he is tossed or torn and the other jump in ...bit slow for my liking ...to try and take down the beast ...they do their best, but to no avail and one guy grabs him by the tail, the other let go and he is dragged around and the bull is very ****** and goes around in circles trying to get him ....didn't expect the young guy to just stand his ground and take the full blunt of the charge ...bit of blood ...

    ... gradually get bigger the more inland you get. And it's interesting to see the differences between the Spanish and Portuguese sides, the Portuguese being more rural with many derelict farm houses and the Spanish (especially near the entrance) more modern with many apartment blocks being built. We anchored in a lovely spot and sat around in the evening watching and listening to
    nature. Just idyllic. We even saw a snake swimming from one side of the river to the other.
