Wow, what a wonderful experience I had this Thanksgiving. I went with a ski club out of this area and there were 100 Americans that went on this trip. We had the entire hotel for just us. They even cooked up a Thanksgiving dinner for us on Thursday. On Friday, we went skiing, and oh, what an amazing time this was. Cheeky Catch up with Nadia
A friend, Nadia, lives in Milan and after a random email exchange we decided to meet in Sion - close to being in the middle of Lausanne and Milan. After lunch and a stroll around Sion - which is turning into quite a cool place, we then drove to La Vaud and had some wine watching the sunset over the lake before heading to Lausanne to drop off Nadia. In the evening Ana and Stefan had a fab meal with Milagros in Pully - gorgeous evening out and the summer just keeps on giving.

Great train trip, weather getting worse.
... in the train car to catch the best views. Although we had a number of train changes on our trip to Zermatt, everything went smoothly. The final stage from Visp to Zermatt, also on a narrow gauge railway, was spectacular in places, even Marusia said so. (The kids and Marusia commented that it was like Lord of the Rings geography).
