It's Friday and the square is really crowded today but that didn't detour us from standing in a very long line to see St Marks Cathedral. It took us about 20-30 minutes before we got inside and then they pretty much shuttled everyone around like cattle through the Cathedral. We were not allowed to take photos or videos but we did pay 2 Euros each to go up into the high ...

The linguine was surprisingly rich, perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The spaghettini on the other hand was absolute heaven. The next morning, while enjoying my free cappuccino and croissant breakfast, the hostel manager said he'll be right back, he had to run ...

... observation floor to overlook the city. It was breathtaking. We loved it and didn't want to come back down.

After the tower we headed to the St Mark's cathedral which was across the grand canal. We could of got a ferry there or a water taxi but we decided to walk there instead so we could browse the shops and see more of Venice.

Once we crossed the grand canal we popped into an art museum to get out of the heat and so have a look at some Venetian ...
