      ... way past where we were supposed to be and got to see the beautiful Christmas markets and decorations in the main square! Lunch was delicious- real German schnitzel with mushrooms and potatoes!!! Yum! Afterwards Beate took us back to the markets where we tried sugar-coated almonds and walked all the way down to the river :) We visited the Frankfurt Cathedral and walked the 328 steps up the Cathedral tower- haha a decent hike!       ... here was worth it! We then caught the train to a cafe where we had the best vanilla chai latte ever! We caught the train back to the city and bought a pretzel after being snipped at with tongs by the guy who ran the shop haha.       ... are A LOT cheaper than trains. The ticket was about 11 Euro compared to the 70 it would have cost on the train.

    • When we got back to the hostel Rhys and Craig were up.

      ... einmal sagte, gehen ist schwer, aber bleiben ist noch schlimmer.
