... upon the San Bernardino Church - a beautiful old Catholic Church that was open but empty - there were candles lit but we never saw another person. We spent several more hours by the river people watching, eating gelato and watching the water fowl. There were tons of dogs and the labradors really made us miss Finn!! A really nice ending to a lovely trip, but we are ready to come home. ...

... them very old - but still impressive and with ornate decorations and beautiful gardens in front. All along the shore small boats were ferrying tourists up and down the lake to all the attractions, with a few quite large ones connecting the major towns. We had a most enjoyable day, and were privileged to see inside Bianca's home after the walk. This is a traditional Italian house of around 200 years old that contains not only a treasure trove of family memorabilia and antique furniture, but also Bianca's 102 year ...

... was spectacular and depressing. Leaving my dreams of Prada, Chanel, and every other high street brand you can ever think of, behind.
Lunch was fabito! We had pizza in a little pizzeria that played songs of Woody Allen films, what a classic! Ellen also told me to try a very thick hot chocolate, which basically turned out to be chocolate soup. Still delicious.
Then was the time to get very very lost. With both of us not having explored Milano before this was exciting ...
