At the bus stop for half 11 and within 5 mins, a very round and cheery bus driver arrived and we hopped straight on (unhappy Prego had a muzzle on so no questions asked! But he didn't seem the type to be funny anyway... Lovely chap.) The mountains were all completely cloaked in fluffy clouds, a very different landscape from yesterday. Lovely ride into St Anton where we went straight to the Sport Cafe for a couple of coffees in the rain, under an awning. Then ...

We were woken at half 4 by rain and thunder so we brought Prego in. We dropped back off to sleep before being awoken again at 6ish by another storm. ... Pass" because it is little used due to there being two lower passes 25km South of it. At the top of the climb is a very modern concrete structure cantilevered out of the side of the mountain. This structure contains pictures and text describing the construction of this pass. A tourist attraction and Wonderfull motorcycling road, this pass is only opened seasonally and a toll of 12 euro is charged to traverse the Pass. Now in Austria ...

... like that again in order to just leave.....! As the afternoon wore on, we managed to chill, get some perspective and take in just where we were. We talked about the next drive and how we might work things going forward and decided Austria is going to be awesome.... Just look around! We agreed we won't go for any "scenic" routes as it's just not enjoyable for either of us. But we won't miss out on main roads. We get mega scenery from the highways and the ...
