... to Freedom exhibition, highly recommended by the guidebook, seemed totally shut. Instead we caught a local train to Sopot, slightly further north, and walked to the pier, and then along the beach, paddling in the sea. The sand was very white and fine, the day hot and sunny, and I've caught the sun!
In the evening we ate veggie food in Bioway, then wandered round the historic main town, most of which was completely rebuilt after the second world ...

... the River Motława, to the churches etc. I really like the buildings here. Every single one has a different design, art or scripture. It's so interesting to just look at every one of them. Managed to catch the sunset too yay! Waiting for the rest to come, they just landed! 9.30PM they're finally here! Went for a walk & dinner, was quite good & cheap. Every meal has some form of potato in it though Playing Cards against Humanity ...

... out of the maze of underground corridors it was around a fifteen minute walk to the centre of the 'old town' area. The walk itself has you passing stunning buildings and plenty of shopping so is a pleasant stroll (maybe unless you are pulling a wheelie case on the cobble stones!).
