... Terre was a very fun and full day yesterday, but got off to a rough start. Turns out I bought my train ticket for the wrong day, so once on the train when the employee checked my ticket and saw it was the wrong day, I had to buy another ticket as well as pay a 50 euro penalty fee. ... the piazza in front of the massive Cathedral with its ornate facade. A gentleman in the town hall across from it struck up a conversation with us and said it took 12 generations of builders to complete the structure. The town had a nice semi urban vibe to it and I noticed it is on the main train line between Florence and Rome. Easy to revisit without a car. :-)
