    George wasn't on the train we took from Milan to Venice, but he was spotted by by a couple in our party, near the Town Hall after the civil ceremony. We had a great hotel between the Rialto Bridge and St Marco. On Friday evening we explored the local cicchetti bars (similar to tapas) with our fellow food and wine tour members.

    Our final morning the bags were outside our room by 7:00 AM and down to breakfast at 7:15.
