      ... to reach there.

Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

Abby and I left for Bergamo early on Saturday morning (4 am from our house exactly). We took a taxi to the airport. Once at the airport, we sat there for over an hour with nothing to do because apparently nothing in the Valencia airport is open that early. We hopped on a Ryanair flight and we were off. We arrived at the Milan Bergamo airport at around 8:30. We met a nice lady at the tourist desk who helped us ...

... is trendy with 2 canals lined with pubs and Indy shops. We walked to the Duomo which was worth dragging 2 whinging boys along to because it is very impressive and so is the piazza even with renos and very basketball demos going on. We went to what I guess what an indoor piazza with beautiful frescoes above high end designer stores ( Luis Vuitton etc) and sat down at a cafe only to order what is probably the most expensive affogato I will ever have. Tried to squeeze in some shopping and ...

... way haha. They got to the point where they were ready to go have a drink somewhere else.. but in our usual nana-like way.. we were ready for bed (it's ok.. it was after 11pm!).. so we went back to Franza's and flopped on the couch! Perfect night.. in!

So after a bit of Tiramisu for breakfast.. Franza sent us on our way with even more Tiramisu for our trainride through to.... Basel!

Adios Amigo's.. Definitely going to miss the italian lifestyle!!
