    Had an amazing first day!
    Anna gave me the Grand tour of their amazingly beautiful house! Filippo and Marco had a swimming lesson at 9am so I watched that for a while, after the swimming lesson I helped Filippo with his "Mr. Potato Head" project, he made a Milano Football themed one. For lunch Gianluca's parents came, it was lovely to meet them, also they spoke no English which made it fun to communicate, but it was possible, we had a true italian ...

    ... should Karliana and I be concerned? An Italian man came up to us asking where we were from and confessing that he does not like Italians. For what seemed like the millionth time this week, Karliana was yet again mistaken as something other than Guatemalan. This guy went with Brazilian.     ... ing so watched some people get harassed by a wrist band scammers for a while before walking out into the giant park on the other side and a much needed gelato. Further cooling was still required so we found an outdoor bar with water misters to sit down, have a drink and watch the silly people exercising in 30+ degree heat.
