... had lunch etc then headed back to do some shopping since we needed a few items like toothpaste and deodorant. Because the kitchen stove wasn't working we just got some noodles to have later that night.

We spent most of the evening in the common room, a new lot of Busabout people had arrived so we chatted a bit with them.

We are both looking forward to France and ...

... places to eat. Lucy was hungry again. Oh dear. Luckily we didn't stop at one of the restaurants along the canal and walked further where we stumbled upon a large open air market. It was really cool. Had lots of organic food stalls and lots of places to sit. Our host had encouraged us to eat Italian food and drink Italian wine so for the 5th night in the row we did. Lucy, Katie and I had the best pizza ...

(Last day!) Today we woke up earlier then we have ever woke up. When we woke up we headed to the airport and hopped on a flight to Milan. When we got to Milan we checked in to our hotel, and then had lunch. We had pizza again, but if was still delicious. After lunch, we headed to the pool and went swimming for a while. It was so fun! After swimming we changed and walked around Milan. Soon ...

... road. Fun, not. There were a few highlights: the very large agricultural tractor that I didn't give way to, the motorbike that overtook us squeezing between the barrier and me at 120k, and then had the nerve to give me the finger, the bus that wedged us between it and a wall and then refused to move (thanks Mike for getting out and guiding me through a space that really was too small for our car) the numerous motorbikes that thought the road ...

... I remind myself it's only a few more weeks and we're already in July (can you believe it?!) I am also excited because I can begin to plan my weekends a bit now - there is so much I want to see and do! Apparently we are only 30 minutes away from Lake Como, so that is definitely high on my list! If you have been to Italy and have any recommendations, in particular around Milan or in the North, please let me know in the comments!

Thanks and love to everyone at home! Becky xx
