    ... and have to keep the same colours like a light pastel yellow, pink or orange. Next we stopped at Vernazza for a wine and pesto tasting (this region is famous for Chianti(?) a sweet white wine) can't remember the name. They even gave the girls a glass each! When in Rome Hey!! Then we went to Monterosso for lunch, we got a piece of pizza from the place in the photo. The ingredients were so fresh ...

    ... solo, is from Staten Island. We chit chat to get to know each other during dinner and have a nice time. Our couple from the previous night do come over and explain that they had to change tables (because of the noise) but that there is room for us to join them if we wish. However, I wouldn't feel right leaving Carol by herself, so I think we will stay put. Well tonight we head down to the casino to lose some money and then off to bed.

    ... we had time to grab a very quick coffee and croissant (this was the best croissant I've ever had - it was filled with custard). In Accademia we saw the Rape of the Sabines, Michelangelo's four unfinished Prisoners, Saint Mathew (my favourite of the unfinished pieces in the hall leading to David), and Pieta.     ... with the tour in a month so we will hold fire and so we just did the port town tour by boat. After the tour we did our own thing and did a bit of exploring around the town we found the local market of this port city and the building itself is pretty impressive. Being a port city this used to be the hub for the export of all olive oils, wine and other goods. So to it was for the import of everything else.     ... Everyone was doing it! Despite it being quite an attraction it wasn't as busy as id thought. A wide expanse of grass makes it feel quite spacious. At this point it was time for a wee seat so we went to a nearby cafe for an espresso. We had entry to the tower booked for 1130 so took time to go visit the cathedral. Very grand indeed.
