Probably the worst city in the world
... of them). About the hotel itself, I am not going to say a bad word, it was decent and as such, I would still recommend it.

First day in Romania
... yey!. Everything went smoothly until the plane landed which was a complete shock as it was extremely sudden. Once I managed to control my trembling knees and make a few steps, I quickly collected my bag with a small incident which included an unintended small play on words with the baggage guard which is hard to explain here. I slept over at Gabi's in Iasi.
Today I had a full-on day of mostly talking.

Ridden hard and given back dirty
... to Iasi (pronounced "yosh") yesterday. We will be in Iasi two nights. When we got here yesterday we turned our rental car in; she had been ridden hard and given back very dirty. We put 900 miles on the car, probably over 100 of them on gravel or dirt roads. The car rental guys know enough to check the car’s undercarriage and somehow we had managed not to do any (noticeable) damage. Rental car cemeteries must be a sad scene.
