This is where Pietro, an old Italian guy, jumped into Bruce and navigated us to the trulli. He saved us from a traffic jam in the narrow streets of Puglia.<br><br>Pete was also called Pietro while in Italy. :-)<br><br>Trullo comes from the Greek word, "tholos" &#8211; meaning &#8220;dome&#8221;. ... then went to a park. I stretched out on a park bench, with my head in Michelle's lap, and napped in the sun while Michelle read her book. We still had time to kill before our next ferry to Greece, so we had pizza at a restaurant called Gusto. It was a little expensive, and Michelle ran into the usual problem of ordering a small salad and ending up with a ten dollar bowl of iceberg lettuce, but the mozzarella on my pizza was hands down the best I've ever had.
