However nearing the end, it was mostly downhill, but my shoe grip wasn't very good already, and I was ...

From there we finished settling in and I am now blogging. Doug is snoozing and we are overall awesome. I hope everyone is doing awesome.

    Other Side Notes:

Fitbit updates – so far I have not had a day under 15,000 steps.

I enjoyed Venice much more than I thought I would. It is such a unique city.

    Doug is awesome. Duh.

... are other idiots around, Steve decided to do the leg of the walk that is closed for maintenance. Being a responsible person who put two and two together and could also smell coffee I decided to stay and keep company with my new friends. Very concerned for Steve's life we went directly to a beautiful little cafe bar surrounded with little pots of flowers and gift shops. We chatted about America and exchanged addresses. It was delightful. Walking to the train station ...

... our breath, give our knees and ankles a break, and take a few photos to remember the hike. The descent into Monterosso seemed to come around a lot quicker (total travel time for this leg was estimated to be around 1:50 mins; but we managed to complete it in about 1:20 mins), and to break up the leg there was a guy who had rather ingeniously cut a hole in his fence that backs onto the trail path and was selling freshly squeezed lemonade to was SO refreshing, and ...
