... 1 just in time to see the back of our train to Speyer as it pulled away. A Plan B is now in effect.

As I am sure, you all know that we usually take the S5 from Mannheim to Speyer. That is our Plan A. Our Plan B was to take the S2 to Schifferstadt at 8:56pm and get off at platform 3 at 9:14pm. Then we shot over to platform 1 to connect to the S4 leaving at 9:24pm - Eazy-Peazy.

We arrived on site at ...

Keeping the French style theme rolling, we broke the fast with pain au chocolat and croissants, and started our great ride by catching the Eurovelo 6 road to Basel. If you haven't heard about eurovelo, check it out, it's basically a network of bicycle paths going all around Europe, super convenient and a great way to discover the old continent. Exiting Mulhouse, we went along a nice canal, crossing ways with fellow touring cyclists, and enjoying the sunshine ...
