They had 8 different areas placed around the city with lots of crazy fair rides and stalls some had roller coasters and the last one had lots of shops selling food and other things like xmas stuff. We went to them all ...
Basel, Basel, Switzerland traceybelle... fairgrounds to check things out.

In Münsterplatz we rode the big wheel and got a nice view of the city lights reflecting on the Rhine. After our ride we just hung around a stall selling gluwein, drinking and chatting. Everywhere we went was crowded with people in good spirits and children full of sugar and excitement. Herbstmesse is a fun time in Basel!
Basel, Basel, Switzerland travelingdiva... we went to my cousin Patrick and his wife Barbra’s place for dinner. My other cousin Franzi was also there and I met Patrick and Barbara’s 2 year old daughter, Cheyenne, for the 1st time. It was really good to catch up with everyone and Patrick and Barbara speak perfect English so even Megg had a good time!

I really can’t remember what we did on the Saturday, so I’m guessing it wasn’t much… We did catch the tram to the train ...
Basel, Basel, Switzerland benannaWe got back in Basel late yesterday afternoon. We had lots of time to sort out our luggage and for mom and dad to repack for their journey today. We all walked down to the garage together, Lincoln included, with their assortment of suitcases and carry-ons. Once we managed to squeeze everything in ...

Basel, Basel, Switzerland pv_blog... of the coolest things in the city center was the Basel Town Hall. Its a very interesting building. It was originally started in the 1500's and has been worked on and added to until the early 1900's. It is very decorative and I found all sorts of interesting details throughout, including an interesting water fountain that I am including a picture of. I also took a tour around the Munster cathedral, I don't think I ever get tired of looking ...
Basel, Basel, Switzerland heathertx75... Fox agrees that some terms are offensive and even cause confusion to other doctors who are not in the know. But he asks for critics to understand the stress that doctors face every day. And in any case, the colourful language is under threat of dying out because of fears of lawsuits. "The use of medical slang helps to depersonalise the distress encountered in doctors' everyday working lives," Fox told the British Medical Journal.
