      ... and mariachi music playing in the background. Funny the things that remind us of home :). It was a good reminder that we are heading home in morning. After 15 days of an amazing, unforgettable, European Adventure, we are ready to go home to American comforts and our kitties and friends.       We finally pulled into the station and met up with my cousin Sarah. We took a tram back to her house and saw her husband Martin and met their adorable kids. It was so great to see them! We vegged out for the day and tried to catch up on 13 years.

      ... no snow for sledding.

      We then had a walk through the town, which had a big church but not much else. The shops were already closed since it was Christmas eve so we headed back. On the way we drove through the Todtmoos which I thought was meant to be a national park with a nice place to stop but we didn't find anything other than a small town. There were little waterfalls everywhere which go under the road and look very pretty.

      ... running 10 mins to my gate through duty-free. Then, once my ticket was scanned, was sent down a flight of stairs to wait in a hot, stinky, tiny room for no reason. Then a bus picked us up and drove us in circles to make it seem like all this was necessary before depositing us on the tarmac roughly 5 feet from where I got off the last plane. Jesus.
