    We had a sleep in, and a quite morning again this morning. Then when we went to go out we realised the keys to Diana's garage, in her apartment building, were locked in her car, in the garage! It took a good half hour before someone finally went into the garage and we were able to get in, woops! We were on the road by about 12 and headed to Mt Pilatus for the afternoon. ...

    We had an early start this morning to catch a ferry from Lido to get to the train station in time. We left the accommodation at 7am and had to take a ferry a bus and then 3 trains to get to Aarau, in Switzerland, just after 5pm.     ... for dinner - very nice too!! After dinner another little stroll then back
    on the “jar of jam” and home for a good night’s rest before setting off to
    Luxembourg.

    It is quite remarkable that Basel
    has three main train stations, the Swiss and the French at the same location
    and a German one a few hundred meters away.
    Needless to say tomorrow we depart from the French one.
