On Monday morning I departed my apartment and took my luggage to the Wierhe Bahnhof that is about a two minute walk from the apartment. I noted how pleasant it was, seeming decidedly warmer. I boarded a train to the Hauptbahnof and awaited the train to Baden-Baden where I will be staying for 3 days. It was a simple, short journey—no transfers …

After walking through, and taking photos of the cathedral, we decided to get dessert from the Christmas markets. I had a Nutella Crepe and nearly made a mess of myself eating it. Colleen went for something a lil less messier. We then walked through the ...

... chocolate covered fruit and all sorts! We went into Strasbourg Cathedral and were in awe of the size of the building. It was massive! There was a nativity scene that told the story of Christmas. Ash lit a candle for her Dad and had a special moment. It was very special. We left the cathedral and continued shopping the markets until we went and had dinner. After dinner we got a free ride on the tram to wait for fab to pick us up. We went back home and ...
