After breakfast we headed off to down town Athens to explore and find or way around. Found lots of cloths shops with heaps of good bargains. The fashion is much better over here than at home. ... scaffolding, cranes, etc. are not too visible as they are renovating the site quite extensively. We were smart to go early as it wasn't too crowded when we were there but by the time we left 2 hours later, it was getting very busy. And on top of that, it was pretty hot today (90 F) which felt even hotter reflecting off the marble and not much shade.
