    ... been spotless since the aquaplaning incident. Thought I'd have a look at Cap Ferret at the bay of Arachon. Why? because it sounds cool.. It was very pleasant but whilst looking across the inlet I noticed this almighty mountain of sand! Checked the map and sussed it was the Dune of Pilat. Google it - it's pretty amazing, god knows how it came to be there. While I was there I caught the most magnificent sunset - took pics but haven't done it justice. ...
