... worst coffees of our entires lives but we drank them anyway because they were warm and filled us up. We sat and watched the sun rise over some mountains and took in the beautiful fresh sea air. We relished in the fact that unlike the plane we could get up and wander round the ferry, stretching our legs. The sun was glorious and we sat just soaking it in. We were the last of 4 stops (Parros, Naxos, Eos and Santorini) It was so nice to be able to see the other islands on ...

Okay it's breakfast time and we are at our favourite breakfast haunt, Vythos, a really trendy looking place but full of local flavour and lots of cigarette smoke. Check out the pic and you will see what I mean about this blending of the old and new. Not many cultures do it as well as the Greeks. At times it is mad and chaotic but somehow it always works. On to food. Yesterday I deviated from the usual ...

... two days of stubble and grime.

Well the flight from Singapore to Frankfurt was ok, and we both managed to get some sleep even with the guy behind snoring away. Also what is the issue with breakfast on planes? Sadly no choice on the Lufthansa flight, breakfast was scramble egg and a rather anaemic sausage, although a better description would have be tube of emulsified animal protein. I guess since Tesco's stopped selling horse meat they ...
