      Adiós Barcelona :( ... Bonjour France again!! Headed into the cute seaside city of Nice today via a place called Arles. Arles was built by the Romans back in the day so the buildings were very old with arches everywhere lol.       For our last day in Nice we did a touristy thing and went to Colline du Chateau. It was really cool and we had a great time climbing on things, playing, and taking pictures doing it. Historically what I learned is that castle hill was considered to be the cradle of the town of Nice. It was later converted into a park in the 19th century. The castle did have a really cool waterfall and got some great views of all Nice. Michelle and I like playing this game ...

      ... so we could fit in. It was still all very confusing.

      We were given seats and settled in for the 4 hour trip. The saving grace was a lovely Swiss couple we shared the compartment with. The young woman was Canadian and had moved to Switzerland and married a Swiss guy. We got on really well and chatted most of the way. We hope that they will visit us in Australia with their two young sons some time.
