... I decided to skip going on the motorway and take the scenic road!! Well, what a mistake this was!!
I had travelled this road in 2012 and never remember it being as busy or as boring as this was now. The first 30 or so km simply just plod along through housing estates etc with the m/way running alongside. It would have been 100% better going on the m/way.
Finally out of the boring area and I'm on the edge of the Adriatic sea. Its nice and twisty ...
... and aimlessly strolled around. It was much smaller than the old town at Dubrovnik, you could walk from one side to the other in about 5 minutes. It was very quaint with all it's little alley ways and shops. We wandered back to our room, luckily I have a fantastic sense of direction because Darcy didn't have a clue how to get back! We freshened up then headed back out for some dinner. We found a place near where we were for lunch that was quite reasonably priced. ...

... had a lovely meal tonight (some of the best food we have had in Croatia) and then went for a walk around the town. Tonight is our last night in croatia a tomorrow we head off to Italy.
This country is gorgeous and we have loved every minute of it. For anyone who has a travel bucket list - put it up towards the top!

... 6 miles and dropped anchor in Prklog which was a lovely long inlet totally protected with just one other boat. It felt like we could have been in a Swiss forest some where as there were so many tall pine trees. Needless to say storms arrived after midnight and we find ourselves playing scrabble at 4am in the morning ...
