... take her to Morocco, and I was headed north to Andorra, and eventually Paris, from where I would fly home. I wished more than anything that we both had another day in Barcelona, and another chance to get to know each other better, but it wasn't in the stars.

I suppose I shouldn't be so greedy; I just spent a birthday in my favourite country in the world, in one of my favourite cities in the world, having just dined at a restaurant I've wanted to ...

Finally in Spain

... least we weren`t in Milan!! We eventually made it to the hostel where we checked in and met up with Edie, who was able to get a bed in the same room as us. Yay Edie!! I should note that while Kabul seems like a ton of fun, it also seems like the dirties of the hostels we`ve stayed at. But no worries, we at least have the clean sheets we rented so all should be well. After checking in and setting up our beds, Andrew, Edie, and I all headed back to ...

... with stores, and there were MOBS of people shopping. I tried to take a picture to show just how many people were in the Plaza, but the picture doesn't sufficiently convey the size of the crowds. On our way to Catalunya on the Metro we had a VERY interesting experience, one that I will NEVER forget.....o the Metro we were making a transfer to the line that took us to Catalunya at a stop that was very busy with many people getting on and off the train. ... go on a hike that heads upwards out of the city. After losing the trail once and fighting off some angry loose dogs I arrive at this little spring up above the city. The view is spectacular of the city and surrounding mountains. There’s something awesome about hiking through fresh snow and knowing that you are the only person there. Being up above the chaos of capitalism and city life, I can breathe the mountain air, eat fresh snow off branches, and ...

... sense to use them for water too. The next day, I was haggered, Marty too. But I wanted to go to the beach and get some sun. I think swimming in the sea was an excellent way to spend a hangover. It was refreshing and replenishing, except for the annoying beach vendors. Every two minutes asking if we wanted beer, chips, cola or a massage. Leave me alone. I love my iPod. Just put the headphones on and turn up the volume... By the afternoon the wind was ...

... to sit in a more fit section of the beach. Since I´m sure Nate went on adnauseum about this experience, Ill leave it at that. We also got a chance to see a big Salvador Dali exhibit. It was actually really incredibe, but let me just say that he´s was one f-cked up individual. There were pictures of him all around the museum and he is the definition of excentric. I actually really liked a lot of his art though. The museum featured a lot of statues and paintings that he ...

... square inch is a celebration of God's creation, an allegorical reference to bounty or compassion, sacrifice and rebirth, an offering of skill and craft, an uplifted, sky piercing Hosanna Excelsis (literally). Thousands of people, overcome, have felt the need to compound their own insignificance by writing, scratching or carving their names into the walls of hand cut stone. The Nativity Façade was completed in Gaudi's lifetime. Here all manner of shepherds, musically ...
