    The wind was howling on Piz Gloria and the view from the rotating 360 restaurant was hampered by the wind the rain and the clouds. That didn’t stop us from getting some sweet shots with Bond and his counterpart. We ran out and looked at the area around us at almost 3 km above sea level.

    Only a couple of minutes was enough for us and we skedaddled indoors where we walked around the gift shop (totally got a 007 Shot glass) then to the free Bond ...

When we bought our gondola ticket we also bought a ticket to do the zip line, 800 meters straight down to a gondola mid station at speeds up to 80km/h and higher than the gondola itself!     ... from 14 degrees at base to less than 4 degrees at top. We did not expect snow, were not prepared for ice and had not the correct foot wear to trek through sludge snow and ice mud. End result bum slide toboggan style without a toboggan through the icy mud amongst our adventures. Not the testing of the waters I had envisaged for this holiday. Nevertheless great vistas, spectacular scenery, good beer and finally a warm bed after 48 hours.
