    ... it was 7:30 by this time, a long day. This was a four course feast, served slowly over the next two hours: cheese fondue with bread; salad bar; thinly sliced beef with mushroom gravy, baked broccoli and potato gratin; and chocolate mousse on meringue shells with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Upstairs again by 10 pm, but the light were on till after 11:30! We slept with both the window and the balcony doors open, snug under our comforters.

    Today we planned to hire some bikes and ride along the picturesque lakes. We planned that we would go up to a certain point together and then Chanel and I would cycle a little further along the lake. We duly arranged for two ebikes for Chanel and I and 3 normal bikes.     ... interesting to close ourselves in the tiny prison cell in one of towers and imagine how a prisoner might try to soak up every possible ray of sun that shone through the small window and keep mentally occupied while locked up in there. Old school prison...no cable tv, library, free legal guidance... just cold, hard time. And a torture chamber.
