We arrived to Ljubljana late Friday night and just got to the hotel and hung out before bed. Saturday morning we headed straight to the caves. Transferred from our bus to a ferry that took us into Venice. The weather Gods were on our side: light rain on our way there, stopped as we got off the ferry. No place like it on earth! Verona and Padua
Today was Verona and Padua. Verona, with its Roman Arena from the first century A.D. where, ironically, they were setting up for a huge concert this evening featuring Adriano, a popular rock group. The inner wall quite well preserved through the centuries and a small section of the outer wall still standing.
