... it had a thriving textile industry, a few dozen of the 600 mansions remain around it's cobbled streets. We will visit the village tomorrow, we drive a little further up the winding road to a view point, wow what a view it is. A lovely spot to stay the night. A local lady stopped as she walked by to chat to us, she was very friendly and enquirer if we needed anything. It wasn't long before the sun set, the sky looked quite impressive with big streaks of yellow and orange across ...

... at Meteora Restaurant which was very good. I met the chef who cooks a whole bunch of delicious stews every morning. Lamb, veal, chicken, meat balls in onions, eggplants, peppers or potatoes. I would go back but I think Yang just thought it was ok. We started exploring Kalabaka after dinner but rain was threatening so we headed, exhausted, back to our hotel.

A good day and glad to be out of Athens (did I mention that before LOL).

Ollie out.
