... metal concert, elbowing our way to the gate. It again felt hopeless as we were not on The List, and were not with our friends who were, none of who answered, let alone could hear, their phones. But party-karma once again shined upon us, for within minutes of reaching the gate, a friend was coming out. She tapped the gatekeeper on the shoulder and we were pulled past the horde, onto the red carpet, and up to the most hyped party of the night.
