Leaving Florence for Ancona today...

Up early to finalise packing so that we can get to the train station early to avoid any rushing like we did in Paris … mind you it is only a five minute walk!!!

Isla had her first major melt down…I think she fired all the way to the station because she didn’t want to wear her boots and her pants Draz had chosen.

The train has arrived and we boarded OK, bit of rush to get luggage ...

... and doughnuts.We then walked around the town and looked at churches and statues. We walked past an Italian Deli and they had beautiful food, so we bought a chicken to eat for lunch. It was delicious.

At 11am, we got back in the car and drove onto the ferry. We were taking the ferry from Ancona to Igoumenitsa.

... pesto means "I grind." I loved it so much they thought it was funny and took pictures of me eating it. In the evening we went to Giada's ballet. Today I started my day off with a fabulous bubble bath complete with jets, lavendar, and lots of bubbles in the cutest bathroom I've ever set foot in. It was so relaxing and perfect.
