Sooo my vision of Kelowna was this small town with a couple of shops and a little quirky ... So when the greyhound pulled up at a huge garage in the car dealers district I was a little shocked. We hopped in a taxi (only because it was the only way out of the estate) and travelled ten mins down the highway to our hostel - Kelowna International... Walking through the door we passed through ...

Very quiet at work and the partying has stepped to haha. Australia Day Triple J countdown was playing a day early for us and it started at 5pm compared to the usual 12pm. The time difference is funny to get use to. I start the day with a solo ride as Allana went to work and enjoyed the beautiful sunny day. I met up with Donny and met her friend Karina at Raakels and enjoyed a bev in the sun. We entered a competition to guess the number ...

... two boys who were glad to see us and happy we had food, we were glad to be home and so was our new friend, quite a stressful day for all. Ethan, Cooper and I had a relax in the spa, Sue couldn't join us as she had no swimmers. It was so nice sitting in the nice warm spa, just looking at the lovely white snow until I went to get out and slipped on the icy steps and fell, just a few sore points. That was enough excitement for one day.

This was only a 400m walk on a boardwalk but it had been highly recommended as it was reported as being absolutely stunning...sounded perfect. This walk takes you through the world's only non coastal cedar hemlock rainforest. You walk amongst ancient giant trees and observe how every element of this ...

... St. Pietersburg, a view of a very large cement plant and then back to the dock. We spent an hour wandering the square, admiring the very old buildings.. We have noticed a particular difference here, compared to Italy, Spain, France or Croatia....it is drab, grey buildings as opposed to the vibrant colors in the other places. After having a nice lunch, with sandwiches made with just out of the oven baguette, we were tired and ready to head back. This time we thought we had it all ...
